
VIOLINIST
A graduate with highest honors from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow, where he studied under Gregory Feiguin and Ara Bogdonyan—both disciples of the legendary violinist David Oistrakh—he was awarded the degree of Master of Fine Arts, Concert Violinist, Senior Professor of Violin, and Specialist in Chamber Music.
Spanish of Colombian origin, he is a violinist of outstanding international projection. From an early age, he distinguished himself as a soloist in recitals and performances with orchestras throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States, including the Russian Symphony Orchestra, the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, the Lviv Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Latino Symphony Festival Orchestra, the Bogotá Philharmonic, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia—the latter two also featuring him as guest concertmaster.
Based in Spain since 2002, he serves as Principal Violinist of the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra in Madrid, while maintaining an active career as a concert soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in major venues in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Washington, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dresden, Paris, Athens, Montreux, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, and Bogotá, as well as at the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid, the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Juan March Foundation, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, the Auditorio de Galicia, the Teatro Monumental, among many others.

He has recorded for Spanish Television (Televisión Española), Radio Clásica of Spanish National Radio, Russia’s Cultural Channel, and Radio Suisse Romande, and has appeared in concert performances broadcast throughout Europe by the European Broadcasting Union. His discography includes recordings for IBS Classical, Non Profit Music, and the Colombian Association of Electroacoustic Music.
Throughout his career, he has expanded his artistic activity into conducting and the creation of innovative projects such as Muzík Ensemble, founded in 2013. With this ensemble, in addition to performing in Spain’s leading concert halls, he pursues an important social mission, bringing music to audiences not traditionally reached by classical music. As a composer, he has written the soundtracks for the films Seeds of Joy, Victoria 20/30, and Here and Now, produced by the Spanish company Tus Ojos.
